Outfit: Fairy Weather

The forest is so alive right now. Its like the whole earth is singing out a song for spring. Delicate green sprouts from the ground, the sun is soft, and the birdsong wakes each day.
I'm trying to spend as much time as I can outside to drink up this beautiful weather before the air is thick with humidity and the summer sun starts beating down. Although, I'm sure when that day comes, I'll be loving it all the same. Sometimes I wish I was a fairy so I could bottle up each season and pour them out when the right time came. I would wear flower petals and live in a tree and help things grow.

A note about my outfit: I felt that my dress was too short to wear to work so I layered it on top of a different skirt to add some length. The trick worked great and I like the ruffled petticoat look that the second skirt gave. Next time it would be fun to replace my navy polka-dot skirt with a brighter color that gives some color pop on the lower hemline.
I'm in love with this beautiful orchid pearl necklace from Casamoda. It is so perfect for spring. My friend Rachel chose this necklace as a gift to all the bridesmaids in her wedding and it is definitely something I will wear again and again.
This little area looked like a fairy playground to me.
