Inside Her Closet: Jess

Jess is a darling person. I'm not sure if it is because she is a vegetarian, a children's school teacher, or if it's just her sweet natured personality, but being around her puts a person at ease. Today her outfit features fair-trade items from Ten Thousand Villages, a nonprofit that supports artisans in developing countries by selling their wares for fair prices around the world. Ten Thousand Villages was founded in 1946 by a woman named Edna Byler who purchased hand-made products from entrepreneurs in Puerto Rico to sell in North America. Over the past sixty years the company has grown to connect artisans and buyers from all over the globe, empowering and providing economic opportunities for craftspeople everywhere. It seems very fitting that that is what our dear Jess is wearing. She looks cute and ready for adventure don't you think?

Notice the beautiful embroidery combined with the dotted flower print. You can tell the dress is a well made piece.
